Taking this Webmedia class has helped me succeed in other classes. When people are unsure of how to create videos, podcasts, and/or internet applications, I am there for the rescue. I feel proud that I have this knowledge and get to teach my peers and teachers this subject.
Hmmmmm… Out of all the applications we have used this semester the one I would have to recommend to teachers is to use the Flip Video Camcorder.You can buy it at Wal-mart for about $120.00. It gives you a flash-drive in the camera that saves your video. You get 60 minutes of video time, but when you delete videos it gives you back time. I would say that the flip video camera is pretty cheap, it is easy to use, it works extremely well, and is easy to carry around. This is why I recommend to use the Flip Video Camcorder.
My opinion on Voice Thread is that it is fun to play around with if you are bored or are just experimenting. The things I like about it is that you can draw on the picture to get into further explanation. The things I don’t like about it is that when you are creating a show and need a URL for importing the picture it seems a little bit confusing. The problems I have encountered are that it will not let me put a fourth picture when I don’t know how to delete the others. Other than this problem, I think it is a cool application.
In my reading class, we have a required book to read. Our book is called Dragonwings. At the beginning, I didn’t like the book because it was hard to understand. Now I finished the book and it got a little better. It just wasn’t about my favorite interest.
On Thursday, March 13 McCracken Middle School had an International Food Festival. They had food from all types of different resturants around Bluffton.

Well I watched a news story about school violence. It mainly showed a few stories of school violence and you heard and saw the superintendent speak about how unacceptable it is. You first heard it then you saw it second. Some good tips and advice for the Bulldog Barks’ productions are to maybe show something in action like a basketball game then get to someone reporting it or get back to the interview.
